The Sticks have designed this program to be different than the average run of the mill t-ball (age 3-5) and coach pitch (age 5-6) experience. At the heart of this program is development while creating a fun and stimulating experience. The Iowa Sticks coaching staff will teach the fundamental skills of the game while also teaching the rules of the game.

Lead Instructor:
Luke Eldred
Growing up around baseball, Luke found a love for the sport early on. His D1 career at Dallas Baptist was very successful, earning him many honors and nominations. Luke is passionate about working on pitching with athletes one-on-one. He is excited to help them improve their skills through lessons and instruction. Luke’s baseball career was inspired all throughout his childhood. His father, Cal Eldred, played in the MLB for 14 years, working with teams such as the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, and coached for Kansas City Royals.
